PACIFIC EAGLE is a 102ft stowaway ketch designed by the renowned Don Brooke and built by the award winning New Zealand yard Alloy Yachts. Pacific Eagle was the second yacht to be built by Alloy Yachts in 1989 and she combines both romance and elegance; with an ease of handling and an ample of space.
The Yacht has circumnavigated, she is very comfortable in all types of conditions. She is powered by 3400 sqft North Sails, with hydraulic winches and has a twin Gardner engine that allows a cruising speed of 10 knots. She has a fuel capacity of 12,500 litres providing her with a huge range at 26 litres per/hour, this can also be dramatically increased by feathering one propeller. She holds 5000 litres of fresh water that produces 4 litres per/minute. She has a massive storage on-board, including over 30 cubic/ft of customised freezer space and can be self-contained for over 6 months.

The joy of the Pacific Eagle is her ability to cruise anywhere in the world at 200 nautical miles per day with complete safety and is a well-protected strong yacht. She is built under Lloyd’s specifications and has all the best gear of the time, with most of it over- spaced. She is designed for long term adventure cruising for a family who want to go to remote areas for extended times.

The interiors designers Bret De Thier were commissioned during the initial build to work with the owners to achieve the highest standards possible. Accommodation allows for an owners stateroom, a spacious double guest cabin with full ensuite, a guest cabin with generous twin singles and full ensuite, and separate crew or guest accommodation for another four people in two rooms each with an ensuite. Moving forward from the cockpit through the double opening timber and glass doors, down two steps into the day saloon and bridge and you immediately notice the attention to detail in this exceptional yacht. She also has a fold down transom for easy water access, whether swimming or using the great selection of water toys.

Pacific Eagle is a New Zealand Registered Ship (Under full MSA survey) Lloyd’s Qualification 100A1+ L. M. C. with all taxes and duties are fully paid in New Zealand. A major refit undertaken in 2002 updated her systems to the highest available at the time and her owners have continued to keep her in a condition that is not often seen through the strict maintenance program they have put in place.
