Interior Design — Cristiano Gatto Design Team
The shape and styling of the Kingship Grand Voyager 44m is meant to be in harmony with the life on the sea. The Cristiano Gatto Design Team was entrusted to create a unique appealing interior for this deep-water passage maker.
Linearity is the basic concept while textures and patterns, soft colors, exquisite materials and timeless decorative scheme have been chosen to match the tastes of most sophisticated yacht owners.
As you enter the main salon, a subtle Art Deco atmosphere welcomes you, nevertheless the linearity of the overall design holds firm to a refined contemporary style. Saddle leather, glossy Ebony furniture, window frames and paneling, enhance the white and creamy leathers and fabrics while a precious silver leaf ceiling adds a touch of sophistication to the ambiance. The dining area features an elegant rectangular table with rounded corners encircled by white leather chairs.
The large Owner’s cabin perfectly matches the salon style. White leather and dark ebony give life to a sophisticated yet relaxing ambiance. Same color scheme for the luxury bathroom featuring Calcatta and Cappuccino marbles.
Features
- Advanced ultra-efficient hull design (waterline is 99% of the LOA). This optimizes propulsion efficiency by 16-18 %. This also substantially increases internal volume.
- Efficient cruising performance @ 13.5 knots with a top speed of 16 knots.
- Intelligent power management system supporting automated power control and load monitoring which provides efficient fuel and energy management.
- Reduction of generator size by 40% — Installation of 2 x 65kW generators as opposed to 2 x 100 kW for a similar size yacht. Achieving fuel savings of approximately 1,850 gallons per month.
- Low voltage DC powered LED lights throughout the yacht eliminates the use of hot inefficient transformers.
- High capacity DC refrigeration system allows maximum efficiency in energy consumption.
- Waste heat recovery system for hot water provides significant energy savings.
- Heat reflective glazing cuts solar heat and keeps the interior cooler. This reduces the demand on air conditioning.
- Enormous deck spaces and natural ventilation are provided by 3 full height opening windows on each side of the yacht.

Hull
The hull is an advanced displacement type with a twin-curve vertical stem. Underwater main parameters and geometry have been studied and tank tested to achieve exceptional performance. The long waterline stretches the hull volume, this diminishes the pressure due to the flow around the forward shoulders of the underwater body, reducing wave-making resistance. The plumb bow form with deep and narrow forward sections also limits slamming in seaway and allows smooth passage in the waves, decreasing overall resistance where speed is increased and fuel efficiency improved.
The hull is constructed of High Strength Steel (AH 36), with Aluminum Alloy (5083 H321) superstructure.
