Named after the tropical Scarlet Ibis, CORA CORA was designed by renowned naval architect Henry Scheel and built by Royal Huisman, one of the world’s best shipyards.
CORA COROAis a true blue water family cruising yacht. Her three owners have sailed the seven seas and confirm her comfortable seagoing abilities as well as being able to be sailed shorthanded. She is a real sailing yacht being able to sail well to all wind directions, in light as well as heavy air. She has 3 Pacific Ocean crossings under her keel and she is ready to go on the next one!
Her previous guardians all kept CORA CORA in very good condition with regular refits and upgrades and continuous professional maintenance. In 2010/2011 he rig was overhauled with new rod and a full respray.
Her good looks and impeccable pedigree make her a uniquely custom yacht that will be a joy to sail for many years to come. Apart from cruising anywhere on the planet, she would be a good yacht for the ARC tours.
