The more than 5,400 gallons of fuel will take her transatlantic at 10 knots, and easily transpacific at 7-8 knots, all the while in the safety and security of a ship that displaces 115 tons. Vessel has just gone through a yard period to include: New Wesmar stabilizer port side and complete overhaul of system. Props and shafts removed balanced and polished. New cutless bearings. New multi-seal dripless seals. Both engines laser re-alignment. Both hydraulic pumps overhauled and tested.
