SW102 Crossbow is the fifth hull in the well-known SW102 miniseries and the third in the Raised Saloon version. Thanks to the time-tested collaboration of Farr Yacht Design (naval architecture) and Nauta Design (concept, interior and exterior design), this 102’ is again proving to be the perfect expression of the yard’s ability to build comfortable and luxurious high performance yachts.
Combining the best features of both a Flush Deck and Deck Saloon configuration, the design of this RS yacht blends a sleek deckhouse and uncluttered sight lines with higher ceilings and ample light, which floods into the interior through 270° panoramic windows.
Hull, deck and structure are in resin infused carbon fibre sandwich, making this yacht enjoyable both in light breeze and strong weather conditions.
Exterior layout has been planned to allow for easy movement from the helm positions to the companionways in total safety, thanks to a clean and flush deck. A garage beneath the maneuvering cockpit can host a 4,2 meter dinghy.
Crossbow is built to the highest RINA standards, and is certified RINA Charter Class.
Crossbow’s interior has a very light and bright look: the main saloon is a single open space where eight to ten people can relax and converse in comfort on couches or at the dining table.
Placed immediately behind the living area, a spacious studio amidships flawlessly separates the main saloon from the owner’s private area, providing a dedicated space for the owner’s personal activities.
This refined 102’ stands out for the elegant and timeless style of her interiors: light oak paneling is set off by walnut flooring and stainless steel details; upholstery is in an off white and coral red colour scheme.
The yacht’s interior has Southern Wind Shipyard’s most popular layout. The owner’s cabin fore includes, provided with a vanity desk and a sofa. There are three guest cabins amidships while crew quarters and the galley are aft.
The four-suite layout allows two families to cruise comfortably and is ideal for both the owner’s private use and for charters.
The crew area features three cabins with two heads. A door separates the professional galley from the mess area and nav station.
This layout has been studied carefully to favour the ergonomics of movement of different crew members about their tasks.
The area is served by a dedicated companionway to ensure the privacy of owners and their guests.
